7 Shopping Tools Built Into Every Saved Item
Save a product once. Research it seven different ways — without opening a single new tab.
The old way: 10 tabs, 3 extensions, 1 headache
You find a product you like. Now the real work starts. You open Google Shopping to check prices. You go to Amazon to see if it's cheaper there. You open CamelCamelCamel to check if the price is inflated. You search eBay for a used option. You Google reviews. You find a similar product and start the whole cycle again.
By the time you've done your research, you have 10+ tabs open, you've lost track of which product was which, and you're not even sure you're comparing the same thing anymore.
Grabbit fixes this. Save the item once, and every research tool is one click away — right in your dashboard.
The 7 tools
1. Compare Prices — Google Shopping in one click
Click "Compare Prices" and Grabbit opens Google Shopping pre-filled with your product title. You instantly see prices across dozens of retailers — Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, niche stores — without typing a thing.
This is the fastest way to answer the question: "Am I getting a good deal?"
2. Find Similar — AI visual search
This is the magic one. Click "Find Similar" and Grabbit sends the product image through an AI visual search engine. It returns products that look like yours — from completely different stores and brands.
Why this matters: the same backpack might be $89 on one store and $34 on another under a different brand name. Text search won't find it. Visual search will.
Also great for: finding cheaper alternatives to designer products, discovering unknown brands, and checking if a "limited edition" product is actually widely available elsewhere.
3. Price History — is this price real?
For Amazon items, Grabbit opens CamelCamelCamel with the exact product URL — not a title search that might return the wrong item. You see the complete price history: was it cheaper last month? Is this "sale" actually the normal price? Should you wait for Prime Day?
For non-Amazon items, Grabbit searches Google for price history on that specific store — useful for catching fake discounts and "was $199, now $99" marketing tricks.
4. Find on Amazon
Found something on a random Shopify store? One click to check if Amazon has it — usually with faster shipping, better return policy, and sometimes a lower price. The search is pre-filled with the product title.
5. Find on eBay
Same product, but used or refurbished? eBay often has it for 30-60% less. One click opens eBay search with your product title. Great for electronics, tools, and anything that doesn't need to be brand new.
6. Read Reviews
Before you buy, one click opens Google search for "{product name} review". You get YouTube reviews, blog posts, Reddit threads — real opinions from people who actually bought the thing, not the 5-star reviews on the product page.
7. AI Agent (MCP)
Connect Claude to Grabbit and your AI becomes the research assistant. Ask it to compare your saved items, find the best deal, check compatibility, or build a complete shopping list. The AI has access to your entire Grabblist and all 21 MCP tools.
The workflow that replaces 10 tabs
Here's how it looks in practice:
- Save the item — Browse any website, click the Grabbit extension. Title, price, image — captured automatically.
- Compare Prices — One click: is it cheaper somewhere else?
- Find Similar — One click: are there alternatives I don't know about?
- Price History — One click: is this a real deal or fake discount?
- Read Reviews — One click: what do real buyers say?
- Decide — Buy, save for later, or move on. All research in one place.
Total time: 2 minutes. Total tabs opened: 0 (Grabbit opens each search in a new tab when you need it, but your dashboard stays clean).

FAQ
Does Grabbit track prices automatically?
Not yet. Grabbit saves a snapshot of the price when you save the item. The Price History button opens CamelCamelCamel (for Amazon items) or Google to check historical pricing. Automatic tracking is planned for a future update.
How does Find Similar work?
Find Similar uses AI visual search. It sends the product image to a search API and returns visually similar products from across the web. Great for finding the same product cheaper or discovering alternatives you didn't know existed.
Does it work on any website?
Yes. You can save items from any URL — Amazon, eBay, Shopify stores, AliExpress, IKEA, niche stores, even Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. The shopping tools work on any saved item.
Is it free?
Yes. All 7 shopping tools are free. Find Similar has a monthly limit (AI costs), but Compare Prices, Price History, Find on Amazon/eBay, and Read Reviews are unlimited.
Can I use this with Claude?
Yes. Connect Grabbit as an MCP server and your AI gets all these tools plus 14 more. Ask Claude to "compare my saved headphones" and it pulls data from your Grabblist automatically.
